On the initiative of NTPC Executive Association, NTPC Tapovan provided a support amount of Rs 33, 001 for the talented and needy sportspersons of the area. Informing this, officials said that the employees of NTPC Tapovan had collected the amount for the district- level winter sports competition and sports rally being organised at the sports stadium at Gauchar from October 25 to 28.
The additional general manager (human resources) NTPC Umesh Kumar gave away the support amount to the Joshimath education department block coordinator Lakshman Singh Pankholi.The additional general manager (power development), NTPC R Arvind was present among other senior officers on the occasion.
