On MLA’s request, Greenpanel provides CSR support to Rudrapur Medical College

Greenpanel Industries Limited initiated health and emergency support for Government Medical College Rudrapur on the request of Rudrapur MLA, Shiv Arora.

Informing this, the assistant general manager, HR & Administration Greenpanel Industries Limited, Manoj Kumar Khantwal said that through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, his company is committed to supporting and contributing to health, education, nutrition, employment, environmental sustainability, renewable energy and other important state and national priorities, as well as contributing to the holistic development of society in line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Greenpanel Foundation, in collaboration with Greenpanel Industries Limited, as part of its healthcare initiatives under Corporate Social Responsibility for the year 2025-26, has equipped a Trauma Life Support “C” type ambulance with all basic trauma life support equipment and additionally four critical care accessories including:  Scoop Stretcher, Spine Board, Head Immobilizer, and Wheelchair-cum-Stretcher. The project cost is approximately Rs 26.2 lakh.

The Government Medical College is crucial for assisting patients in emergencies, the company officials said. Besides, a support system needs to be firmed up to take on extreme climate events and emergencies such as heat waves, floods and cyclones.  Regular emergency response is also essential for road accidents and domestic incidents. “In response to this critical need, at the request of MLA Shiv Arora, GreenPanel has provided assistance under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR),” Khantwal added.

Among those who attended the event held at Greenpanel Industries Limited campus were the MLA, Rudrapur, Shiv Arora and a number of senior officers of Greenpanel Industries Limited, including senior vice president, Operations, Ashok Kumar Singh; AGM-HR & Admin, Manoj Kr Khantwal; DGM- Purchase, Naveen Chandra Pant and GM-Commercial, Deepak Agarwal. Besides them, the principal, Government Medical College, Rudrapur, Dr G S Titiyal was present.
