One dead and one injured in a road accident in Raiwala, Dehradun on Sunday when a motor cycle lost control due to overspeeding and slipped. The incident happened near Kharola plot, Raiwala. On being informed by the Rishikesh Control Room, the SHO reached the spot and witnessed the damaged motorcyle and two persons lying in an injured condition. According to the police, victim named Deepak was riding the bike received minor injuries and was sent to AIIMS Rishikesh while Neeraj who was a pillion rider was seriously injured and was referred to the Panacea Hospital, Dehradun where he was later declared dead. The family of the injured was informed and the police is investigating the matter.
