One person died and two were injured after a car fell down the mountainside near Jajal on the Rishikesh-Chamba highway late on Sunday evening. The car was being driven from Rishikesh towards Chamba when it fell about 200 metres down the mountainside. The local police reached the site of the mishap on being informed. A total of three persons were in the car when it met with the mishap. According to the police, the driver identified as Chamba resident Pawan Kishor Kotnala (30) died in the mishap. The two other injured- a woman and a child were taken to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rishikesh for treatment.
