One dies from Covid-19 in Dehradun

Death of one patient from Covid 19 was reported by the state health department of Uttarakhand on Sunday. This patient died at the Government Doon Medical College (GDMC) hospital in Dehradun. The state health department reported only six new cases of the disease and nine recoveries from the disease in Uttarakhand on Sunday.
The cumulative count of Covid-19 patients in the state is now at 3,43,821 while a total of 3,30,121 patients have recovered from the disease so far. In the state, 7,399 people have lost their lives to Covid -19 virus till date. The recovery percentage from the disease is at 96.02 per cent while the sample positivity rate on Sunday was 0.06 per cent.
The state health department reported three new patients from Dehradun, two from Nainital and one from Champawat district on Sunday. No new case of Covid-19 was reported from the remaining 10 districts on the day.
The state now has 163 active cases of Covid-19. Dehradun with 103 cases is at the top of the table of active cases while Uttarkashi, Tehri and Bageshwar have no active cases of the disease now.
In the ongoing vaccination drive 12,797 people were vaccinated in 332 sessions in the state held on Sunday.
