In latest Uttarakhand news, with road accident spree continuing unabated in the State, at least one person was killed and two others were seriously injured as the car they were travelling in fell into gorge in Kotdwar in Pauri district. Police attributed the accident to the person sitting behind the wheels having lost control over the vehicle. On receiving information of the accident, a police team rushed to the spot and pulled those injured out of the mangled car. Police further informed that the accident occurred near Musa bend on the Baijro- Jogimani motor road. The deceased was identified as Tejpal Chand (54), resident of Jogimani. He died on the spot. And the two injured were Pratap Singh (55), resident of Thalisain in Pauri district and Aniruddh (21), resident of Siroli village in Pauri district. The police rescue team rushed the injured to Baijro hospital. The deceased’s body was sent for postmortem.
