The Election Commission of India announced that while the Assembly polls in Maharashtra will be held in a single phase on November 20 Jharkhand will see two-phase polling on November 13 and 20, Besides, bye-elections to 47 Assembly seats, including 10 in Uttar Pradesh and Kedarnath in Uttarakhand, and the Wayanad Lok Sabha seat will be held on November 13. Counting of votes will be held on November 23.
