One tourist dead, 6 injured as car turns turtle

In latest news from Uttarakhand, with the accident spree continuing unabated in the State, a car with tourists sitting in overturned on the Bhowali-Garampani-Almora National Highway, killing one and leaving six injured. The brake failure of the car is stated to have caused the mishap.
The tourists from Delhi were going to Ranikhet, police said, adding that the deceased had been identified as Laksman Singh (37) from Delhi. He was transported to the Garampani health centre where the doctors declared him brought dead.
