A car fell into gorge on the Dhanachuli and Paharpani motor road in Nainital, resulting in the death of one youth. Five others have been injured in the accident. Police sent the injured to hospital with the help of the locals. The in-charge of Dhari police station Vijay Kumar said that the accident had happened around 11 pm and the car was heading from Lohaghat to Dhari. Those who were in the car had gone to Lohaghat to attend an engagement ceremony in the family. While returning, the person who was driving the car lost control over it and it plunged into a gorge. On being informed, police reached the accident spot and took the injured to Padampuri health centre. One of the injured identified as Navin Chandra had died before reaching the hospital and the others injured were being treated in the hospital.
