ONGC partnered with Red FM Dehradun for the Go Green Expo to spread awareness on e-mobility. The two day event is being organised at BR Ambedkar stadium here. ONGC Offshore director Pankaj Kumar welcomed the governor lieutenant general (retd) Gurmit Singh who was the chief guest on the occasion.
Kumar reiterated the commitment of ONGC in securing the nation’s energy security. He said that the future is of renewable energy and stressed on the importance of energy efficiency and decarbonization as two major levers for the country to achieve energy security. He also highlighted various steps being taken by ONGC in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to build a significant renewable portfolio and achieve carbon neutrality. He urged people to encourage e-mobility in all possible spheres of life as increased usage/demand will bring better infrastructure as a part of whole ecosystem development.
