The online registrations for the Mukhyamantri Udiyaman Khiladi Unnayan Yojana (MUKUY) and Khiladi Protsahan Yojana will begin on March 15, said the State Sports minister Rekha Arya. “A total of 150 boys and 150 girls will be selected from each district in the State. While six different age groups have been created 25 children will be selected from each age group in each district,” she added.
She further informed that the selected children would receive financial assistance of Rs 1,500 per month to support their sports training.
Additionally, applications for the Khiladi Protsahan Yojana for players above the age of 14 will also start on March 15. Under this scheme, the selected players will receive monthly assistance of Rs 2,000. “Applications will be accepted until 5 PM on March 31 and players will be selected based on their test results,” she said, adding that the selection process for MUKUY would be done from April 1 to 15, while the selection process for the Khiladi Protsahan Yojana would be held from April 16 to April 30.
