The Bharatiya Janata Party has appealed to the youth to observe patience and trust the steps being taken by the government instead of being carried away by the agitation, which the party termed a political conspiracy of the Congress. The BJP State president Mahendra Bhatt said that he trusts the youth of the State who cannot take the law in their hands. Considering this, he has demanded from chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami that a probe be conducted into the entire conspiracy. Meanwhile various cabinet ministers have also appealed to the youth to be patient and added that jobs are going to be provided to thousands of youth.
The BJP State president said, “I appeal to the youth to remain patient and not get carried away by anyone. The Congress has been trying to instigate the youth from the start because it is unable to digest the stern action being taken by the State government in the recruitment cases and the satisfaction of the public with this. The information coming in makes one suspect that people of the Congress and other opposition parties were among the youth and instigating them which is very unfortunate and a cause for concern.”
Earlier, while talking to media persons, Bhatt averred that the Dhami government is taking unprecedented and stern action against all those guilty of corruption in recruitments. The government is also going to make the anti-copying law stronger in the State so that nobody even thinks of indulging in such malpractices in the future. He said that the Uttarakhand High Court had also placed its faith in the action of the agencies investigating such scams, considering which the youth should be patient and maintain trust in the agencies. “I also appeal to the youth to not get influenced by leaders of the political party which is most responsible for the termite of corruption in the State. Action is being taken today on the irregularities in most of the appointments made during the term of that party in office,” said Bhatt.
Meanwhile, cabinet ministers Subodh Uniyal, Dhan Singh Rawat and Saurabh Bahuguna also appealed to the youth to remain patient and trust the assurance being given by the State government. “The opposition does not want the corruption orchestrated during its term in office to be exposed and acted upon which is why it is trying to hamper the actions being taken by the State government. The Congress is also trying to instigate the youth,” said Uniyal.
Rawat reiterated that the State government is standing with the youth and said that the BJP government had provided the maximum number of jobs in the State. He added that the State government will be providing jobs to more than 20,000 youth in the State.
