The orientation programme titled ‘Diksharambh-2024’ was organised for the newly admitted students in the School of Nursing Session-2024 at Shri Venkateshwara University in Meerut on Wednesday. On this occasion, the old students presented a cultural programme by way of welcoming the new ones.
Addressing the programme, the Venkateshwara group chairman Sudhir Giri hailed the all-inclusive National Education Policy (NEP) and said that nursing is the noblest and the most humanitarian of all professions and was on equal footing with the noble profession of the doctors. The pro-chancellor Rajeev Tyagi said that his institute is committed to presenting a successful and safe career to the nursing students admitted here.
Among other dignitaries present were the CEO Ajay Srivastava, the vice- chancellor Krishna Kant Dave and registrar Piyush Pandey.
