The Swami Rama Himalayan University (SRHU) organised an orientation programme for the new students who have entered the paramedical field. Addressing the students, the university chancellor Vijay Dhasmana said that quality education is the focus of all the university programmes and that students are being provided with world-class education. Paramedical technicians play a crucial role in the treatment of patients. The doctor treats patients based on the report of paramedical technicians. He further said that paramedical technicians bridge the gap between doctors and patients providing a stress-free environment for patients and assisting in addressing their health issues. He emphasised that for success, students should work hard and make the best use of their time.
The university vice chancellor Rajendra Dobhal informed the students about the importance of paramedical workers in the field of medicine and how doctors are incomplete without them. He stressed that students should be on alert to the concepts of setting goals, time management, dedication and commitment.
The students were introduced to the mission and vision of Swami Rama through video representation in the programme. Apart from this, the students also got acquainted with the department heads and faculty members.
