Over 30 k people take Bhagavad Gita exam online

Greater Noida-based spiritual organisation Prashant Advaita Foundation conducted an online examination on the subject of Bhagavad Gita for the first time in the country and over 30,000 people took the exam simultaneously. The questions for the unique exam related to Bhagavad Gita and Vedanta besides fear and terror impacting common life.
Notably, the founder of the organisation Acharya Prashant is educated from IIT Delhi, IIM Ahmedabad and a former civil service officer which he left to choose propagation of spirituality. The functionaries of this organisation said that over 77 million people have joined this organisation through social media. While its YouTube channel has 57 million subscribers 5.5 billion people have watched it, they further said.
Acharya Prashant said that as the use of mobile and internet has spiked a lot due to the domination of the Western culture, it is imperative to draw the youngsters of the country towards the spiritual knowledge enshrined in the timeless scriptures of this ancient land. This though is a quite challenging task for them, given the encroachment of the Occidental culture into every sphere of India’s collective life, he added.
