Over 5000 delegates from industries attending Investors Summit

In latest news from Doon, the much-awaited two-day Global Investors Summit commenced at the iconic FRI premises in the city being attended by over 5,000 heads or representatives of the industrial houses from India and abroad. Besides, the ambassadors from countries, including Spain, Slovakia, Cuba, Nepal, Greece, Austria, Japan and Saudi Arab, are attending it. While the Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the summit, three Union ministers-Dharmendra Paradhan, Mahendranath Pandey and Mansukh L Mandaviya- are present. Among the heads of industrial houses who are attending the summit are Mukesh Ambani, Gautam Adani, Sajjan Jindal and Baba Ramdev. Notably, a day before the summit commenced, MoUs worth around Rs 12,000 crore had been signed, according to the officers of the Directorate of Industries Uttarakhand.
