Warning Pakistan of befitting response to its terrorism and proxy war misadventures, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi said while paying tributes to the martyrs and soldiers of the Kargil War on its anniversary in Drass (Kargil) that India would crush terrorism.
“Pakistan seems to have learnt no lesson from its continuous defeat. Our brave-hearts in the army will crush terrorism and give an appropriate response to those in Pakistan who are desperately trying to keep their country relevant by continuously indulging in terrorism and proxy war against India,” the PM said.
Recalling with gratitude the saga of sacrifice and resilience in the Kargil War, he said that India had won the war decisively not just through exhibiting gallantry but also through exercising restraint.
