Parmarth’s Ganga Aarti recognised by World Book of Records

In latest news from Uttarakhand, the world-acclaimed Ganga Aarti being organised in Rishikesh by Parmarth Niketan for the past 27 years has been officially by the World Book of Records (United Kingdom). The CEO of World Book of Records Santosh Shukla handed the citation to the Parmarth Niketan head Swami Chidanand Saraswati and congratulated Swami Chidanand and Sadvi Bhagwati on the recognition of the 30-minute Ganga Aarti by WBR.
Looking happy, Swami Chidanand said that rivers are the principal pillar of civilisation and people’s life and livelihood are inseparably related, adding that the Ganga conservation movement has transcended the boundaries of India and evolved into a global movement.
