Party comes after the nation for BJP: CM

The nation is supreme for workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party, said chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat. He said this while speaking at the party’s training programme held for various areas on Tuesday.

Rawat said, “Training is part of the party’s work culture and the party works keeping in mind its political character. For the BJP, the nation is supreme and the party comes after that. This is the discipline taught to party workers during training,” he said.

The CM also informed the gathering about efforts being undertaken for security, capability and a self-reliant India. He said that the efforts directed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to control Covid-19 are being appreciated by the world. Under his able guidance, the nation is swiftly bringing Covid under control. Rawat referred to various steps taken by the PM from announcing the Atmanirbhar Bharat special package to initiating the ‘vocal for local’ campaign. “On the appeal of the PM, the citizens have done everything that has helped strengthen the nation. Each segment of society has cooperated during the Covid pandemic and the BJP workers too have attempted to provide all possible assistance to the people during this period,” said the CM.

Referring to Uttarakhand, he said that the State government had hit corruption hard with strict action against those involved in corruption. While the e-office system was initiated to bring transparency, redressal of public grievances is being done swiftly through the CM dashboard. In the first 17 years since the state’s creation, a total of Rs 40,000 crore was invested in Uttarakhand while MoUs worth Rs 1,25,000 crore were signed during the investors summit. The grounding of works amounting to Rs 25,000 crore has been done in the past three years. Further, the CM Swarozgar Yojana has been started to facilitate self employment for people at the local level. A total of 150 works have been included in this scheme. In addition to this, the solar self employment scheme, Pirul policy and growth centres are also proving useful in improving the economic condition of the people, said the CM.
