A passing out parade of Uttarakhand police constables was organised in State Disaster Response Force headquarters in Dehradun’s Jolly Grant on Sunday in the presence of the additional director general of police (Administration) Amit Sinha.
Addressing the new recruits at the event, he said that the police department has given them basic level training to give them a better understanding of the methods and techniques used by the police to tackle various issues. He said that he is optimistic that every recruit will work on staying fit physically and mentally while continuously working to improve the image of the police through their work.
Sinha also awarded selected recruits for their outstanding performance during the training period. Some of them include constables Mayank Tiwari and Priyanshu who were awarded for the best performance in drill training and police training respectively. Besides this, constable Gaurav Rawat and Sumit Singh were awarded for field craft and weapons training respectively. Constable Lalit Mohan was also awarded for acing the physical training test.
