Patanjali Yogpeeth & Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa sign MoU

Patanjali Yogpeeth based in Haridwar and Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, based in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for mutual cooperation and academic coordination in Rewa on Friday. While representing the Patanjali Yogpeeth during the MoU signing ceremony, Acharya Balkrishna said that this agreement aimed at ensuring mutual cooperation between these two institutes in educational, research and developmental activities in the field of Yoga, Naturopathy, Ayurveda and related India’s traditional knowledge systems. He added that
under this MoU, courses related to Yoga, Naturopathy and Ayurveda would be developed and conducted with the cooperation of both these institutes. “Along with this, research projects and seminars will also be organised jointly,” he further said.  

Moreover, this MoU will involve mutual exchange of academic and technical experts of both these institutes. There will also be a provision for training, internship and field work of the students while the library, laboratory and research resources operated in both the institutes will also be used mutually. Apart from this, certificate/diploma/degree courses related to Yoga and Ayurveda will also be conducted.

On this occasion, the vice-chancellor of Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Prof Rajendra Kumar Kuraria said that Patanjali Yogpeeth is the best research institute based on Yoga, Naturopathy and Ayurveda. “We will work jointly with Patanjali and share knowledge by doing extensive research on Yoga, Ayurveda and Naturopathy,” he added.
The registrar of the university, Surendra Singh Parihar was also present on the occasion.
