The Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) organised a Tiranga Yatra on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav on Saturday. Headed by the committee’s chief executive in-charge Sunil Tiwari, the procession of people carrying the tricolour began from the Badrinath temple complex and passed through various localities of the temple township. The BKTC chairman Ajendra Ajay and vice chairman Kishor Panwar have greeted all citizens and devotees on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. The Badrinath temple and the temple township which generally wear an ambiance of devotion to lord Badrinath were touched with patriotic fervour with devotees and officials of the BKTC alike raising slogans glorifying the nation on the occasion.
