The Pauri district police have confiscated 25 kilograms of Ganja in the jurisdiction of Thallisain and Dhumakot police stations areas on Wednesday and arrested six persons including one woman. Cases have been registered against the drug peddlers under a different section of the NDPS act. Out of the six accused, three are from Pauri while others three belong to Haryana state.
According to the information of police, the Dhumakot Police arrested two drug peddlers Deepak Kumar and Anil Thapa with four kilograms of illegal Ganja each in Hinden ground during a drive. The Thallisain Police arrested Berru alias Virendra Singh ( Thallisain) with five kg, , Gopi ( Panipat, Haryana) with four kg , Rama ( Gurugram, Haryana) with four kg ganja. One woman Vimla ( Pannipat, Haryana) was also arrested with four kg of Ganja from near to the Panchayat house of village Dadili.
