PCC president frustrated by consistent failures, says BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party has strongly criticised Pradesh Congress Committee president Karan Mahara for consistently making unparliamentary statements aimed at the BJP State president Mahendra Bhatt. The BJP State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan said that Mahara holds a responsible position in the opposition party but is using unrestrained language. It is futile to expect anything else from those who had made insulting statements against the people of Uttarakhand in the past, he said.

Chauhan said that the objectionable statement given by the PCC president to the media regarding Bhatt is an example of Congress culture. He said, “The BJP has become the biggest political party in the world on the basis of its ideological principles, discipline and values. If Mahara wants to preserve his honour at least as the State president of the chief opposition party, he should refrain from using such language,” Chauhan said.

The BJP State media in-charge further said that not only in 2014 and 2019 but in 2017 and 2022 also the people had completely rejected the Congress. The people wouldn’t have shown the mirror to the Congress had the steps it claims to have taken for the welfare of the public and farmers been effective. The BJP had introduced the farm bill in the interests of the nation and withdrew it without any fuss after considering the opinion of the farmers. The faith of the farmers in the BJP on this issue can be gauged from the Vidhan Sabha results in Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, he said. The faith of the farmers in the BJP has strengthened because of the various Central and State government schemes being executed in their interests. “The farmers and people of Uttarakhand are well aware of the policies and intentions of the Congress party. The PCC president has also understood this and in his frustration since then, he makes insulting statements about the public and rival parties. With the support of the people, the BJP is going to win the Lok Sabha elections for the third consecutive time and the Congress leaders will have to add another electoral defeat in their record book,” Chauhan added.
