The AICC general secretary (Organisation) KC Venugopal said that the new Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) will be constituted soon. The statement of Venugopal assumes significance since the PCC president Ganesh Godiyal is waiting for the constitution of his team since he took charge in November last year. Pertinently, the PCC has not been constituted in the State since 2021 when it was constituted under the leadership of Pritam Singh. The internal dynamics of the State Congress where all the senior leaders want to push their supporters in the executive is said to be the reason for delay in the constitution of PCC.
