In latest news from Uttarakhand, BSNL engineers carried out soil testing and survey work as part of network improvement initiatives at Gamdidgaon and Uparikot in Varuna Valley of Uttarkashi district. BSNL sources said that the collected soil samples have been sent to a lab for testing.
The people living in Varunaghati region of the district look happy with BSNL having taken initiatives to improve network. They said that on completion of the BSNL initiative, better communication services would be available for the local people, subsequently bringing about betterment in education, trade and emergency services. Besides, the availability of the network will help youth access new technology and information, which would lead to overall development of the region. The Gangotri MLA Suresh Singh Chauhan thanked BSNL for the initiative the public sector undertaking has taken for telecommunication advancement in this region.
