People throng medical, multipurpose camps to avail benefits

To mark the completion of three years of Pushkar Singh Dhami government 2.0, medical and multipurpose camps are being organised on the theme of ‘Jan Seva’ from March 23 at all the block headquarters of the district. Such camps will continue till March 30. The people are reaching the camps and availing benefits of various schemes run by the State government.
As per the district administration sources, benefits were provided to 342 people in development block Chamba, 197 in Kirti Nagar, 154 in Devprayag, 190 in Bhilangana, 154 in Jakhnidhar, 85 in Jaunpur, 207 in Narendra Nagar, 195 in Pratap Nagar and 130 in Tholdahar on Thursday. Various self-help groups have also set up their stalls in the camp.
Besides, the officials present at these camps are providing information about various departmental schemes rolled out for the people’s benefit. Several departments, including
Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture, Social Welfare, Panchayati Raj, Police, Forest and Education, are involved in such programmes. A total of 1654 individuals availed benefits on Thursday, officers said.
