In latest news from Uttarakhand, three unidentified assailants shot dead an SR petrol pump owner Jogendra (40) after barging into his house in Paniyala Road. He was a property dealer too. The shooting occurred when he was working in his office at his residence. After shooting him in the head five times, the trio fled jumping the boundary wall. Hearing the gunshots, his relatives rushed in and found him splattered in blood. Police was informed and profusely bleeding Jogendra was rushed to the Civil Hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead. Police said they were investigating the murder.
