Following the issuance of the latest Covid-19 guidelines by the Central and State governments, physical hearings will resume in the Uttarakhand high court and lower courts from February 21. On Friday, the high court registrar general issued a notification in this regard. It states that on the orders of the acting chief justice, all cases will be heard as on normal days in the high court and lower courts from Monday. However, the court has also kept the option of video conferencing available. Further, it will be mandatory for judicial officers, employees, advocates and litigants to follow the Covid-19 guidelines on court premises.
