Pine Hall School celebrated Christmas in advance with devotion and fervour on Saturday. The organisers said that while the celebration focused on spreading the message of love, peace and joy it provided the students an opportunity to showcase their talent and understanding of the festival.
The programme commenced with dance performances by students set to popular Christmas songs. Dressed in festive attire, the children gave the dance presentation attuned to the spirit of Christmas. Santa Claus arrived on a bicycle and distributed toffees among the children.
The highlight of the celebration, the organisers, said, was the enactment of the Birth of Jesus Christ, presented by the students with devotion. Through dialogue, acting, and stage movement, they conveyed messages of humility, love and hope.
The principal of the school commended the festive presentation, commenting that this helped the students imbibe the true message of the festival.
