PM congratulates Monu & Sarabjot on winning bronze in Paris

Expressing happiness over the Indian shooter duo Manu Bhaker and Sarabjot Singh having won the bronze medal in the 10m mixed team event at the Paris Olympics, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated them, saying that both had demonstrated remarkable and teamwork in clinching the title. “For Manu, this is her second consecutive Olympic medal, showcasing her consistent excellence and dedication,” he added.
Notably, the Indian pair had beat the Koreans 16-10 and with this, Monu has become the first Indian in India’s post –independence sports history to bag two medals in a single edition of the Olympic Games. Preceding the mixed team feat, she had bagged the bronze medal in the women’s 10m air pistol event.
