The Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually launched the heli ambulance facility at AIIMS Rishikesh on Tuesday. With this, AIIMS Rishikesh has become India’s first AIIMS with dedicated heli ambulance facility. This facility will cover all the 13 districts of the State, particularly 11 mountainous districts, and this is a completely free service. Importantly, this service is mandated to benefit at least 30 patients every month. Among those who attended the virtual launching ceremony was the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami along with MPs and MLAs of the State.
