Addresses Mera Booth Sabse Majboot programme of the party
Prime Minister Narendra Modi digitally interacted with the booth level workers of the Uttarakhand BJP on Tuesday in the Mera Booth Sabse Majboot programme. The programme was organised by the State unit of the party in the IRDT auditorium. In the programme, the PM gave the party workers the mantra of success and making their booth strong. In his address, the PM said that the workers are the real strength of the party. “ It is you who take the information about the welfare schemes of the government to the people. Ujjwala Yojana has its roots in the information gathered from the workers,’’ he said.
The PM elaborated on the constitutional validity of Uniform Civil Code (UCC), Teen Talaq and termed the efforts of opposition unity as guarantee of corruption.
Interacting with the media persons after the programme, the president of Uttarakhand unit of BJP, Mahendra Bhatt said that we are fortunate to get guidance from the most popular leader of the world. He exhorted the party workers, who listened to the PM’s address in a programme organised in all 270 Mandals and Booths of the State, to thoroughly understand the information given by the PM.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the address of the PM was enlightening and infused energy in everyone. His inputs would help us in setting up interaction with the public, he said. The CM added that the policies of satisfaction of BJP governments as against the appeasement schemes of previous governments have brought about radical changes in the life of the people of the country. He welcomed the advocacy for UCC done by the PM and assured that soon the people of Uttarakhand would get this law.
The general secretary organisation Ajey Kumar, cabinet minister Dhan Singh Rawat, Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, Tehri MP Mala Rajya Laxmi Shah, Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama and others were present on the occasion.
