The media in-charge of Uttarakhand Congress Rajiv Mehrishi has opined that Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged in political drama at a religious place in Uttarakhand. He said that the PM wore the dress and headgear of Himachal Pradesh during his Kedarnath visit as elections are near in that State.
Mehrishi said that since the PM was in Uttarakhand and he claims to have great affection for the people here, he should have worn a local outfit here. He said that since elections are scheduled in Himachal and not in Uttarakhand he wore the dress of Himachal Pradesh. Mehrishi added that the belief is not something which one should blatantly display but it is associated with heart and soul.
