PM Modi’s reference to U’khand shows his affection for State: Dhami

Chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that youth of Uttarakhand are making their presence felt in all sectors. He said this after listening to the 113th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat on Sunday. The PM talked to the team members of spacetech start-up Galaxy Eye set up by former students of Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Talking to one of the team members, Rakshit from Almora, Modi recalled the famous Bal Mithai from this mountain town, adding that shuttler Lakshya Sen always brings this sweet for him.

Addressing the gathering after listening to the episode, Dhami said that the PM had sought detailed information from Rakshit about space related works. Stating that youth of Uttarakhand are making their presence felt in all sectors, the CM said that the PM also referring to Almora’s famous Bal Mithai and Sen who also hails from the same town, shows his affection for Uttarakhand.

“Mann Ki Baat works towards the upliftment of youth and women while also inspiring all. One is motivated to work towards a better and prosperous nation through this programme. The PM has brought to the fore, commendable works from all corners of India, which would otherwise be known to only a few. Big works in small places have been presented before the nation and the world through this programme. PM Modi encourages the efforts of people and strengthens their faith through Mann Ki Baat. The PM referred to the Tiranga Yatra and also focused on the affectionate bonds between humans and other creatures in this episode. This programme has made us realise that our nation is like one big family where every citizen plays an important role in building the nation,” the CM said.
