PM to flag off Delhi-Doon Vande Bharat train on May 25 from Delhi

The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to flag off the long-awaited, high-speed Vande Bharat train between New Delhi and Dehradun on May 25 from New Delhi. The Uttarakhand chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has shared this information on twitter. He further said that the inaugural run of this train would usher in a new era of development for Uttarakhand. He said that the people of the State are grateful to the PM Modi for this precious gift.
Notably, some senior Northern Railway officials recently inspected the Dehradun station. They informed that Vande Bharat train would soon start running between Delhi and Dehradun. This will be the 18th Vande Bharat train and it will run at the speed of 160 km/hour. As per the railway officials, this train will take three and half hours to complete its journey from Dehradun to Delhi and vice versa.
