The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Kumaon on January 28 to inaugurate the 38th National Games to be held in Uttarakhand. Besides, he is slated to inaugurate the Sports University in Almora the same day. Meanwhile, the State sports minister Rekha Arya held a meeting with the chief secretary Radha Raturi and senior officers of the Sports and Youth Welfare department. She directed the CS to allot funds for the Girls Sports College coming up in Lohaghat.
