In latest news from Uttarakhand, the principal secretary to the Prime Minister Pramod Kumar Mishra is now visiting the Kedarnath temple. He performed puja at the shrine. Meanwhile, the shrine reconstruction work has resumed after the rain-triggered interruption. However, snowfall has started in the region in October this year with the mercury plunging to the sub-zero level. Usually, snowfall starts in the Kedarnath region in the first week of December. Though the temple reconstruction work is scheduled to continue till mid-December it is uncertain whether it would continue till that time, given the plummeting mercury in the region.
