Audio series platform Pocket FM announced the launch of Pocket Novel, intending to become India’s largest online reading platform. Informing about this, the chief executive officer and cofounder of Pocket Novel, Rohan Nayak said that the objective of the new launch is to create a natural home for the community of Indian writers. “Pocket Novel aims to play a vital role in opening doors of opportunities and connecting authors with millions of readers. As a medium for amazing visibility and lifetime earnings for authors, the platform has brought a huge number of distribution opportunities across various formats and categories. This platform is trying to present the passion of writers from across the country and is becoming everyone’s favorite destination for storytelling,” he added.
Averring that this online platform for reading novels has a huge potential for the market to flourish in India with the country moving forward as a fast growing market in this field, he exuded confidence that Pocket Novel is set to reach 100 million copies worldwide by 2025.
