Police arrest man for killing his tenant in Doiwala

The police nabbed a man who had allegedly shot his tenant dead at Harrawala in Doiwala on Saturday night. The police informed that the brother of the deceased filed a complaint in the police that his 27-year-old brother Hafiz Khan was living as a tenant in a house in Doiwala for the past eight years. On the night of January 15 when his brother was with his co-workers at his rented room, the 35-year-old son of the tenant, Kapil Balodi shot his brother twice and fled from the scene. The complainant said that his brother was taken to the nearby hospital but died during the treatment. After filing the complaint, the police started the investigation and nabbed the accused from the forest near Manimai Mandir. The police also recovered a pistol, a cartridge and a scooter from the accused. According to the police, the accused has confessed to killing the deceased on Saturday. He has stated to the police that he was planning to kill his tenant for about a year as he thought his intentions were bad towards his mother. When he finally got a chance, he shot him and escaped immediately, informed the police. The police will present the accused in court soon.
