Police arrest man for killing woman and two minors

The police arrested a 36-year-old man Haseen for the murder of a woman Reshma and her two minor daughters, whose bodies were found in the garbage in the Badowala area of Patelnagar. The accused is divorced and was allegedly having an affair with abijnor, Uttarakhand Pradesh resident Reshma for the past two years. She was allegedly pressuring the accused to marry and live together besides demanding money.
The accused told the police that he killed her and her daughters to get rid of them when she reached Dehradun unannounced on June 23, the Dehradun senior superintendent of police Ajai Singh said. He informed that Reshma came to ISBT Dehradun with her daughters Ayat (15) and Ayesha (8 months) on June 27 and called Haseen and informed him about her arrival around 10:30 PM. The accused confessed that he was fed up with her so he hatched a plan to kill her. “He reached ISBT to pick her up and her daughters and went to his factory in the Badowala area. After putting them to sleep at night, he first strangled Reshma to death and then killed both the girls by smothering their mouths and noses. He wrapped the bodies in foam mattresses and plastic and then threw the bodies in a heap of garbage behind the factory where it was discovered three days later.
The police said that Haseen was arrested from the factory in the Badowala area after finding him guilty during interrogation,” the SSP said. The director general of police Abhinav Kumar also announced to honour the police team for the prompt disclosure of the heinous murder case. The inspector general of police, Garhwal Range, Karan Singh Nagnyal also announced to reward the police team with a cash prize of Rs. 25,000.
