The police on Tuesday arrested two men Vansh Agarwal (33) and Rohit Sharma (21) with over 102 kilogrammes of ganja worth about Rs 26 lakh near Rikhnikhal in Pauri. They both were carrying the contraband in the car with ‘Press’ written on it. They did this in an attempt to avoid suspicion from authorities, the Pauri senior superintendent of police Lokeshwar Singh said. He informed that both accused belong to Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh and were arrested during checking on Tuesday. The police registered a case against them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act. Both were sent to jail after being presented in the court the same day, he added.
