The joint team of Selaqui police and anti-human trafficking unit arrested five people allegedly involved in a sex racket during the wee hours of Friday.
The police informed that they got the information through a police informer about prostitution activities in a colony of the Selaqui area.
The police formed a team with an anti-human trafficking unit and raided the home of one of the accused women apprehended by the police in Selaqui.
The police arrested two men and three women in compromising positions from two different rooms of the home of the accused woman.
The police informed that the two accused are from Dehradun, one is from Delhi while the other two are from Uttar Pradesh and they will be presented in the court soon.
