In latest Uttarakhand news, as part of the ongoing police drives against smuggling and consumption of banned narcotics in Nainital district, the team of Lalkuan police station nabbed a drug peddler from Subhash Nagar and seized 12.45 gm smack from him. It is further learnt from the police officers that the accused was identified as Deepak Singh Rawat (30), resident of East Rajeev Nagar, Ghoranala, Bindukhatta under Lalkuan police station limits. The FIR was registered under section 8/21 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act in the Lalkuan police station.
