The Dehradun police have nabbed a man accused of the murder of a man in Hasanpur village of Sahaspur within 24 hours of the crime. The police informed that the brother of the deceased Padam Singh filed a complaint in the Sahaspur police station that his brother Anand Singh was found unconscious by some locals in their field in the village at around 12 pm on Monday. The doctor declared him dead soon after he was taken to the nearest hospital.
The police started the investigation and arrested a 50-year old man Gaffoor Hassan on Tuesday. According to the police, the accused has confessed his crime and revealed that he killed the deceased with a spade because of some heated arguments in the past. The police have found the tool used to kill the deceased and will present the accused in court soon.
