Police prepared to maintain law & order during budget session in Bharadisain

The Inspector General of Police of Garhwal range, Karan Singh Nagnyal along with senior superintendent of police Pramendra Dobhal and district magistrate of Chamoli Himanshu Khurana held a briefing session on Sunday with the police force and officials deployed for duty on Vidhan Sabha budget session in Bharadisain starting on Monday.

The IG said that the police force appointed for security duty must stay prompt, active and to be sensitive towards duty while ensuring 100 per cent compliance with the security standards of dignitaries. He said that any untoward incidents should be informed instantly to the incharge of the deployed officials. He said that the Chamoli police have efficiently discharged their duties during the Vidhan Sabha session from time to time and he is certain all will perform their duties in the same manner this time too. Stringent action will be taken against the officials and staff for any negligence and careless attitude in duty, added Nagnyal.

It is pertinent to mention here that the first challenge to be faced by the police will be on the first day of the session as the Congress has planned to stage a protest demonstration in the summer capital.
