In latest news from Uttarakhand, within a few hours of a cash-laden woman’s bag stolen by miscreants, police recovered and handed it over to its owner with the cash remaining intact. This incident happened in the Chinyalisaur market and the woman Manju Devi, resident of Pipalmandi Chinyalisaur, reported the matter at Dharasu police station, saying that aside from cash of Rs 10,000, there were important documents in it.
Instructed by the higher-ups, a police constable Pramendra Negi started searching the stolen bag and recovered it soon after the complaint was lodged. He then handed it over to its owner. The station house officer (SHO) Dharasu police station Dinesh Kumar said that police are always ready to help the common people in distress.
