In latest news from Uttarakhand, Nainital police arrested a drug trafficker and seized 100 gm hashish from him during a checking drive at the Angel Collection in Haldwani on Friday. Police said that the Special Operation Group (SOG) team headed by the in-charge Sanjit Rathod had stopped a scooty which was carrying the hashish. The accused was identified as Nar Singh (33). Police said that a case under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985 had been filed against him at Haldwani kotwali.
