He said that all police stations in-charges have been directed to take action against those who create a ruckus in public places disturbing law and order, especially during the night. Following the order, all police station in-charges have been regularly conducting a checking campaign in their respective areas at night and in the wee hours. He said that though such campaigns are being run in every area, special attention is being given to those areas where chances of people gathering at night are higher who can possibly be involved in hooliganism and can commit other offences that can disturb law and order. He said that the police will continue this campaign to ensure people maintain law and order during the night as well.
