Institute alleges act was intended by online participant to malign its image
The police have lodged a case and started investigation following a complaint from the Patanjali Research Institute at Bahadarabad about an online participant putting up an obscene video in a meeting which was attended by about 150 women and men last month.
It is alleged that this was done to malign the image of the institute.
Kamal Bhadauria and Shivam Walia who work at PRI informed the police that a programme was held in the institute’s auditorium on November 11 which was attended by about 150 women and men. During the programme, Pune resident Akash who was attending the event online via Zoom allegedly shared obscene videos on the screen.
It is alleged that this was done to malign the institute’s image in India and abroad. Bahadarabad police station officer Nitesh Sharma said that on the basis of the complaint, investigation has been started by registering a case against the accused.
